#WorldSightDay ... See MoreSee Less

Today is #WorldSightDay, so we're resharing this story from earlier in the year when our Masonic Charitable Foundation awarded sight loss and disability charity SeeAbility an incredible £44,608 towards transforming eye care for children.

SeeAbility's groundbreaking research has found that children with learning disabilities are 28 times more likely to have a serious sight problem, yet are also less likely to have access to regular eye care.

Their tireless campaigning aims to transform how children with disabilities access and receive eye care by ensuring that specialist sight tests become standard practice in special schools.

Paula Spinks-Chamberlain from SeeAbility said: “We are delighted to receive this grant from the MCF that will help us deliver more specialist sight tests in more special schools around the country.”

Another important example of the difference that masonic charitable support can make. Find out more → bit.ly/2yIcmGI

This is fantastic support for mental health sufferers ... See MoreSee Less

We’re committed to supporting good mental health and are proud to have supported some of the UK’s leading mental health charities like Samaritans, Combat Stress and Cruse Bereavement Care as well as many other smaller charities supporting people at a local level.

This year alone we have donated over £300,000 to fund projects that promote good mental health; helping people experiencing depression, loneliness, bereavement, PTSD and other mental health problems.
